Summary

By proceeding, users agree to use only their authorized account, keep their password secure, use the platform only for approved learning and communication purposes, protect personal data and confidential information, behave respectfully and professionally, complete all work honestly without cheating or unauthorized assistance, and accept that approved live sessions, logs, and platform activities may be monitored or recorded where required. Any violation may lead to access restriction, academic sanctions, disciplinary action, or other approved penalties.

Unified Platform Access, Privacy, and Conduct Policy

This policy governs access, use, privacy, communication, academic integrity, recording, monitoring, confidentiality, and related compliance obligations while using the platform and its connected digital learning services.

Mandatory User Acknowledgement Before Proceeding

By accessing, logging in to, or using the platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with this Unified Platform Access, Privacy, and Conduct Policy. Access shall not continue until the required acknowledgement is recorded where the control is technically enforced.

1. Scope of Acceptance

This policy applies to all persons who access or use the platform and its connected digital learning services, including trainees, instructors, assessors, registrars, administrative staff, IT personnel, QA personnel, and other authorized users. It governs access, use, privacy, communication, academic integrity, recording, and related compliance obligations while using the platform.

2. Terms of Use and Account Security

You shall use only the account, role, privileges, and access level officially assigned to you. You must maintain one authorized account only, provide truthful information, keep your password and authentication devices confidential, and use only your own credentials. Sharing passwords, reusing another person’s credentials, allowing another person to use your account, or enabling unauthorized access is prohibited. The platform may suspend, restrict, or deactivate access where credentials are compromised, information is false, access is no longer authorized, misuse is detected, or this policy is violated.

3. Privacy Notice and Data Privacy Notice

Your personal data may be processed only for authorized educational, administrative, compliance, reporting, support, security, and records-management purposes. By proceeding, you acknowledge that the platform may collect and process personal data, access logs, consent records, activity data, assessment-related records, and other necessary system records in accordance with applicable law and approved institutional controls. You have the applicable privacy rights to be informed, access your data, request correction of inaccurate data, and seek lawful remedies where your rights are violated. Privacy-related concerns shall be handled through the approved privacy and security controls. Explicit data-privacy consent is also required before personal data are processed during enrolment and access release.

4. LMS Acceptable Use Policy

The platform may be used only for approved educational, assessment, training-support, communication, and authorized administrative purposes. You may access course materials, participate in approved activities, submit assignments and assessments, and communicate through approved platform tools for course-related purposes. You must not use the platform for personal commercial activity, unlawful use, inappropriate use, hacking, probing, reverse engineering, tampering, bypassing security controls, unauthorized copying or redistribution of course materials, or misuse of learner records, exam materials, recordings, or confidential communications. All course materials, files, recordings, assessments, and related platform resources are protected and must not be copied, modified, redistributed, or used outside the authorized context unless expressly approved.

5. Academic Integrity Policy

All coursework, quizzes, assessments, submissions, and controlled learning activities must be completed honestly and in accordance with the approved rules. Plagiarism, cheating, collusion, fabrication, impersonation, content leakage, and any attempt to gain unfair advantage are prohibited. Unless expressly allowed in the instructions, all work must be completed independently. Unauthorized assistance includes the use of any unauthorized person, service, platform, device, or tool, including generative AI tools. Where AI use is expressly allowed, it must remain within the stated limits, disclosure rules, and citation requirements. All external sources must be acknowledged in the required format. Suspected academic-integrity violations may be reported, logged, investigated, and sanctioned through the approved academic-integrity process.

6. Decorum and Netiquette Policy

All oral and written communication in the platform must be courteous, respectful, professional, clear, concise, and relevant. Profanity, vulgarity, discriminatory language, threats, insults, ridicule, harassment, intimidation, cyberbullying, inflammatory behaviour, spam-style messaging, abusive shorthand, unprofessional slang, and other disruptive conduct are prohibited. Participants in live sessions shall wear appropriate attire, join from a quiet and suitable environment, prepare required materials, remain focused on the approved learning activity, and avoid repeated avoidable disruptions. LMS messages, forums, chats, submissions, comments, and other platform interactions form part of the formal learning environment and must comply with approved conduct rules.

7. Recording of Sessions Notice

Approved live online classes, webinars, assessments, coaching sessions, briefings, and other synchronous learning events may be recorded for lawful, secure, controlled, pedagogically sound, compliance, and quality-assurance purposes. By proceeding, you acknowledge that recorded sessions may include audio, video, and chat transcript where available. Pre-session recording notice, disclosure banner, and verbal reminder controls shall apply where required. Recordings are restricted to enrolled trainees, authorized instructors or assessors, QA personnel, and authorized institutional or regulatory reviewers only. Public sharing is prohibited. Learner download rights are not allowed unless expressly approved.

8. Monitoring, Logging, and Proctoring Notice

By using the platform, you acknowledge that approved monitoring, logging, and proctoring controls may be applied where required. These controls may include access logs, activity logs, quiz-attempt logs, recording controls, audit trails, and approved proctoring or geo-fencing controls. Platform use, communication, submissions, account activity, and related system events may be logged, reviewed, and archived for security, compliance, training, assessment, and service-improvement purposes.

9. Confidentiality

You shall maintain the confidentiality of personal data, learner records, private messages, reports, exam questions, answer keys, scoring rules, assessment content, non-public course materials, and instructor resources. Personal data, screenshots, recordings, messages, learner records, and course content must not be shared outside the approved learning context unless expressly authorized. Unauthorized disclosure, sharing, or distribution may result in immediate institutional action.

10. Reporting, Sanctions, and Access Restriction

Suspected misuse, privacy breach, LMS abuse, inappropriate communication, cheating, impersonation, plagiarism, collusion, unauthorized assistance, or other policy violations shall be reported through the approved reporting channel, such as the LMS reporting function, official institutional email, system log, complaint route, or the approved controlled form where applicable. Confirmed violations may result in warning, counseling, temporary or permanent access restriction, removal from session, disciplinary action, academic sanction, or further escalation under the applicable institutional controls.

11. Revision and Continued Use

This policy may be revised through the approved controlled process. Where a material revision is published, a new acknowledgement may be required. Continued access after publication of a revised version constitutes acknowledgement of the revised policy, subject to the required click-through control where applicable.
